Research: Moms Pass On Experience without Trying! Print
Written by Amy Leger

Yes...you're that good! This new study from the Journal of Neuroscience takes a mom's multitasking to a whole new level!

According to a Reuters report,  "Mothers can pass along their experiences to their children - like the benefits of "education" that their mothers received before getting pregnant." -- Even if they aren't around!

While I know we're not mice and our kids aren't baby mice, that's who this study was done on. Researchers at Tufts University school of Medicine in Boston said baby mice benefited from their biological mother's education, even when raised by a foster mother mouse.  "You inherit to some degree some aspects of your parent's experience, " Larry Feig, a professor at Tufts told Reuters.

So all that running? You think it's literally born into our children? That'd be cool.

There is a lot more on how this study was conducted at Reuters.com.
