| Inaugural Minneapolis Marathon a Success for Running Moms |

Running Moms co-founder Dani, frequent RM blogger and writer Kristy Powell and RM contributor and Dani's Dad, Denny , all pulled off the rolling hills over 26.2 miles from downtown Minneapolis to Fort Snelling and back. I am the other co-founder of Running Moms and I did the half marathon, with my husband (aka Head Running Moms Geek) Joel, and my girlfriends/fellow Running Moms, Kirsten, Kelsi and Kirty. The half marathon was beautiful. Perfectly urban for the first half or so then turning green with trees and rolling hills (which my quads are still screaming about today). I was much more detailed on the half marathon in my Race Report and my Blog. Find out more about the marathon under Race Reports and Blogs as the week progresses. But in the meantime, check out Dani and Denny's big finish!

This past weekend several of our Running Moms (and supportive Running Dads) took on a new event to Minneapolis: the Minneapolis Marathon at the Depot. It was the first year for the full marathon and the second year for the half marathon.
